Strassmann Eliminated by McDonald

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Johannes Strassmann
Johannes Strassmann

Having doubled up Phil Ivey in the previous hand, Johannes Strassmann moved all in for 195,000 over the top of Mike McDonald's initial 18,000 raise. McDonald weighed up his options for about a minute before saying, "Ok, I call."

Strassmann: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
McDonald: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Strassmann's position was secure so far. The {J-Hearts} on the turn gave McDonald the nut flush draw, any heart other than the four of hearts would now give the Canadian the win. The {10-Hearts} came on the river completing McDonald's flush and Strassmann was knocked out as a result.
