Hard Day for Hadaya

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After entering Day 4 as the chip leader with 51 remaining, Shahaf Hadaya's EPT Deauville Main Event run has come to an end with a 32nd-place finish after two-and-a-half hours punctuated by several unfortunate hands.

The end came for Hadaya in a hand that saw Jeffrey Hakim open from under the gun for 25,000, then Yury Gulyy call from a seat over. It folded around to Hadaya on the button who pushed all in for 244,000. The blinds and Hakim stepped aside, but Gulyy called the reraise.

Hadaya: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}
Gulyy: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

"I need a jack," called Hadaya to his supporters on the rail. The flop then came {Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}. "Or a spade," he added.

Alas for Hadaya, the turn was the {K-Hearts} and river the {9-Diamonds}, and he's out in 32nd for a €19,000 cash.
