The 200k man

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Philippe Boucher has become the first player at EPT Deauville to break the 200,000-chip barrier.

He opened the pot from mid position and was called in one spot before the colourful character of Johan Guilbert squeezed to 2,875 from the cut-off. Boucher stared him down and put in a chunky four-bet to 8,000. The player sandwiched between them folded and Guilbert called.

The flop was revealed as {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was dealt as {6-Clubs} and Boucher bet 8,000.

Guilbert sat there behind the ski goggles he's wearing and tanked. Sometimes a man needs to free himself and think without the restraint of goggles though. Guilbert must've agreed and he took them off to reveal a pair of sunglasses underneath! Time was passing by and Guilbert must've known that as he does wear two watches. Eventually he open-folded {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and said to himself, "Good fold, Johan!"
