A Tale of Two Brits
Level 2
: 75/150, 0 ante
Rory Mathews and Rhys Jones have seen their stacks go in opposite directions so far today but with a great structure in place neither should feel too comfortable or uncomfortable yet.
Jones, who's sat next to Barny Boatman, made it to the river in a hand versus Adrian Piasecki. The final board read and Jones check-called a 1,400 turn bet before he folded to a 1,900 river bet.
Mathews meanwhile opened to 250 from the cut-off before Ramin Hajiyev three-bet to 1,200 from the small blind. Mathews came back with a four-bet to 2,750 and that did the job as Hayiyev folded.
