Scott Seiver triples up

After raise-folding with {a-}{9-} and being shown an ace from his three-bettor, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Seiver moved all in for 102,000 from the small blind over an open to 20,000 from Ronny Voth. Max Lykov cold-called from the big blind, and Voth called as well.

The dealer fanned {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, both players checked, and the {5-Diamonds} turned. Lykov led out for 76,000, and Voth instantly folded.

Seiver: {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Lykov: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Only a seven would keep Seiver alive, and to the chagrin of the remaining players looking to combine to an unofficial final table of nine, the {7-Clubs} spiked on the river.

Seiver tripled to 311,000 chips, while Lykov continued to fall, and now has 1.045 million.
