Jaka Dodges Some

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Faraz Jaka is on his seconds bullet but he just dodged a few to give himself a nice double up. The action started when Kevin MacPhee raised to 2,700 from the hijack and Jaka three-bet to 7,800 from his immediate left. The action was folded back to MacPhee who made the call.

The flop brought {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and MacPhee check-called 5,300. On the turn the {9-Diamonds} hit and MacPhee checked again. This time Jaka bet 12,500 and MacPhee threw in a large stack of chips to put his opponent all in. Jaka called all in for 32,400 total and the cards were turned on their backs.

Kevin MacPhee: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Faraz Jaka: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Jaka dodged some outs for his double up. MacPhee was left behind with a healthy stack but he will have to worry a bit more about the player to his left.
