Rens Feenstra waited patiently for a hand, and as a result his stack dwindled to approximately 120,000 before the big blind hit him.
It was at that point Tom Middleton opened for 120,000 under the gun, Andreas Christoforou called from the small blind and Feenstra called off from the big. We're not 100% positive, but it appeared he did so without looking at his cards.
When the flop fell , Christoforou check-called a bet of 125,000 and then both players checked the turn. When the completed the board on the river, Christoforou led out for 125,000 and Middleton called. Christoforou tabled the for a wheel, and he chopped the side pot with Middleton, who had the same hand with the .

Benoit Gury moved all in from the small blind for 940,000 and having already put chips in the pot, the big stack Pasi Sormunen announced that he was in the mood to gamble and made the call with . He picked the wrong time as Gury had . The flop ran out and Gury doubled up.

Feenstra didn’t seem to like it but made the call turning over for top pair and a flush draw. Middleton had . The last card fell . Middleton moved on to 5,500,000 and Feenstra was crippled on 255,000, just four big blinds.
Now that players are back to full eight-handed tables things have slowed down a bit here in the EPT Barcelona Main Event. We expect action will pick up sooner than later.
