He led for much of yesterday in the Main Event, has hardly put a foot wrong all week, and look like the kind of man who could read your mind and translate it into Latin. But is his star about to fade? The PokerStars Blog reports.
2013 PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona
Level: 15
Blinds: 2,500/5,000
Ante: 500
As previously mentioned, this European Poker Tour Barcelona €10,000 High Roller smashed the record for the largest €10,000 High Roller in EPT history. With that comes a very large prize pool, and the 180 entries in the field generated €1,764,000 up for grabs.
The top prize awarded will be €390,700, and the top 27 spots will be paid out. The top five spots will all earn five figures, a min-cash is worth €17,650, and all payouts can be found on the PokerNews payouts tab for this event.
It could be worse! That’s the message among Spanish railers as two home grown players remain in the running to become the first Spanish EPT winner, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
