A series of preflop raises resulted in a three-way all-in pot between Joao Simao, the short stack; Thomas Pedersen, the middle stack; and Ka Kwan Lau, the biggest stack.

"Come on," Pedersen said as he got up out of his chair. He was clearly nervous, but that turned to pure disappointment when the flop came down to give Lau a set. The turn was of no consequence, but the river was. An excited Simao hit his two outer to triple, while Lau took down a sizable side pot to eliminate Pedersen.
