Chidwick Shoves

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick is the clear short stack of the three and he's certainly not hanging around looking for the perfect spot.

After Julian Track raised to 240,000 on the button with {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, Chidwick three-bet all-in for 2,655,000 with {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Track folded.

Ka Kwan Lau Eliminated in 4th Place (€283,800)

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Georgios Sotiropoulos raised it up with {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to 240,000 from the button. Ka Kwan Lau in the big blind made the call with {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Both players checked the {2-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop after which the dealer put the {7-Clubs} down as turn. Lau bet out 275,000 and was soon facing a raise by Sotiropoulos who made it 755,000. Lau thought for four minutes before bumping the action to 1,250,000. Before the dealer was done counting everything there was already an all in and a call.

Lau needed help on the river but wouldn't get it. The {4-Hearts} was a complete blank and again no Spanish winner on the EPT. Lau is €383,800 richer, three players remain.

Ka Kwan Lau Doubles Through Julian Track

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Despite this double up Ka Kwan Lau is still the short stack...

From the button Julian Track made it 250,000 to go with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Lau three-bet all-in for 1,235,000 with {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Track called the extra.

It was a classic race and it went the way of the pair as the board ran {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Lau just about got there. He had to fade a lot of outs on the river as Track was a 41% shot to hit the river.

Track Putting Pedal to the Metal

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Julian Track is playing the big stack very aggressively, he's taken three pots in a row either through raise and takes or three-betting other players off of hands. Georgios Sotiropoulos, ,who's in that awkward position of being second in chips, with two relatively short stacks below him has been three-bet off at least one hand by Track.

Sneaky Chidwick

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Just back from break, Stephen Chidwick limped in from the small blind with {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. Georgios Sotiropoulos checked his option with {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and they saw a cheap flop.

Chidwick continued his snug play by checking {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}. Having hit a pair Sotiropoulos bet out for the amount of 125,000. Chidwick raised it up to 305,000 and the Greek player made the call.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn gave Sotiropoulos some additional outs. Despite those new cards he could hit for the win, he folded to Chidwick's 475,000.

A Walk!

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

It's not often you see a player get a walk four-handed at an EPT final table. However, it's not often there's a player with as big a chip lead as Julian Track. He just got a walk when everyone folded to his big blind.
