Oleg Perepletchikov's river raise was enough to force Stephen Chidwick off his hand in a hand that just took place over on Table 20.
With the board reading , Chidwick bet 2,250 from the small blind and Perepletchikov moved his 5,300 stack into the middle in a rather resigned manner. Chidwick considered what the best course of action was for his holding for approximately 30 seconds before settling on a fold.
Three players each put in 500 preflop and saw a flop of . Macedonia's Negjdel Avdylaj was first to act and bet a modest 575, Melanie Weisner called from the hijack, and Daniel Balaiasa folded from the button. Avdylaj proceeded to check-call a bet of 1,000 on the turn, and then checked the river. Weisner casually tossed out two red T1,000 chips and announced, "1,800." The bet was enough to get the job done as Avdylaj chucked his cards to the muck.
Marko Neumann opened to 400 in early position, and an opponent three-bet to 1,500 from the small blind. Neumann responded with a four-bet to 4,400, and his opponent called.
The flop fell , and the player in the small blind check-called 4,400 from Neumann.
The turn was the , the player checked again, and Neumann fired 7,400. The player released, and Neumann picked up the pot.
Aubin Cazals opened for 400 from early position only to have Kent Lundmark, who you may recall as the winner of the EPT7 Barcelona, three-bet to 900. Damian Siewert then called from the button, Cazals called the additional 500, and three players took a flop of .
Cazals checked, Lundmark bet 1,200, and two calls were made. The turn saw action go check-check to Siewert, and he promptly bet 2,350. Again both the other players called, and then all three checked the river.
Siewert tabled for a flopped set of tens, which was ahead of Cazals' flopped set. Unfortunately for them both, Lundmark had them both beat with for a turned straight.
Stephen Chidwick's stack in into the black after he made a big hand and got paid versus Albert Mykhaylyuta.
The two made it to the river of a board and Chidwick (button) had raised Mykhaylyuta's (early position) bet up to 7,575. The Ukrainian took his time and threw in the call.
Chidwick opened for top full house and Mykhaylyuta angrily mucked and then started mouthing off to the dealer as if it was her fault. Luckily for her she was pushed to the next table.
