Moorman Avoids Greek Tragedy

Just before the break Chris Moorman opened to 2,000 from the button and Panagiotis Gavriulidis made it 5,000 in the small blind, the online star made the call to see a flop of 
but Gavriulidis chose to check, Moorman bet 6,300 but was check-raised to 14,000. He made the call and the 
came on the turn.
Gavriulidis now fired 16,000 and Moorman called once more to see the 
on the river. The Greek player now bet another 16,000 but this time Moorman moved all in for 43,900.
Gavriulidis tanked into the break before finally calling and Moorman showed 
for the turned straight. Gavriulidis was furious and began talking in a cross manner to Konstantinos Nanos while Moorman raked in a huge pot with a slightly embarrassed smile.
Afterwards he said, "When he check-raised me on the flop, I thought he had a lot of ace-high hands so I would win a big pot if the gutshot came in, there's also quite a few turn cards I can bluff..."
