Jason Duval Eliminated in 8th Place (€48,000)

Jason Duval - 8th place
Jason Duval - 8th place

Andrei Stoenescu opened to 80,000 from the hijack and the action was passed around to Jason Duval on the button who thought for about 10-15 seconds before moving all in. Both blinds folded and the Romanian made a very quick call for the second all in preflop showdown of the day.

Stoenescu: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Duval: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Stoenescu moved in front but Duval picked up a flush draw to go with his pair. The {3-Spades} on the turn changed nothing leaving the French-Canadian with just the river card to save him. It was black, but it was a spade, the {4-Spades} to be precise.

Duval goes out first from the final table but his eighth place finish is worth €48,000.
