Big Double for Buddiga

From the hijack seat, Valdimir Geshkenbein raised to 62,000. Next up was Pratyush Buddiga in the cutoff seat and he three-bet to 156,000. Geshkenbein wanted to see a flop and made the call.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Geshkenbein checked. Buddiga fifed 133,000 and Geshkenbein check-raised to an even 300,000. After a couple minutes of thought, Buddiga reraised to 470,000. Geshkenbein took a few moments, then shoved all in. Buddiga quickly called holding the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Geshkenbein held trip kings as well, but with a weaker kicker. He had the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and helped Geshkenbein by giving him a flush draw. The river was the {A-Diamonds}, though, and not what he needed. Buddiga filled up to win the hand. He was all in for 1.233 million on the flop and doubled to just under 2.9 million. Geshkenbein was left with just 360,000.
