Geshkenbein On The Slide Again

Vladimir Geshkenbein was up to over one million but is now back down to half that amount after losing seven of his last eight pots, according to his Twitter account.

We just saw him lose one of those seven when he saw Cesar Garcia Domínguez open from middle position and he decided to three-bet him, next to act, to 62,000. Domínguez called and then checked when the flop came down {8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Geshkenbein checked behind and it was off to the {9-Clubs}. Domínguez now lead into his Russian opponent with a 75,000 bet and the bet was quickly called but they were the last chips to enter the pot because both players checked the arrival of the {4-Diamonds} on the river.

Domínguez showed {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} prompting a smile from Geshkenbein who sarcastically acknowledged "nice hand."
