Huge Pot Sends Marchese to the Rail

Tom Marchese (Day 1) eliminated
Tom Marchese (Day 1) eliminated

Tom Marchese was on a bit of a heater this level, but Justin Bonomo quickly cooled him off and collected all of Marchese's chips to move over two million. Here's what happened.

Bonomo had opened to 40,000 and Marchese reraised to 100,000 from the small blind. Bonomo flatted and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Marchese fired 80,000 and Bonomo made the call.

The turn card was the {2-Diamonds} and Marchese bet 135,000. Again, Bonomo called.

The river card was another diamond with the {7-Diamonds} falling. Marchese took his time and then fired all in for approximately 500,000. Bonomo quickly called and tabled the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for quad fives. Marchese had the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and was running a big bluff.
