Chartier Picking Up Momentum
We just watched Sam Chartier pick up two hands and move himself up near 400,000 in chips. The first hand was against Gus Hansen and the second against Erik Seidel.
On the first one, Hansen check-called a bet of 33,000 from Chartier on the board before seeing the land on the river. Hansen checked again and Chartier jammed all in for 89,600. After a long tank from Hansen, the call was made. Chartier tabled the for a full house and Hansen mucked his hand.
Shortly after that, Chartier was up against Seidel on the board. He check-called a bet of 50,200 from Seidel before firing 122,000 on the river. Seidel gave it up and Chartier won the pot.
