Rousso Picking Up Steam

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso started the day with just 17,000 in chips, but she's already run it up to nearly 70,000. She's also done this while being at one of the tougher table draws in the room as she's seated between George Lind on her right, Sam Trickett on her left, then Nacho Barbero and Griffin Benger also at the table.

On her double-up hand, Rousso bet 3,300 on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and Trickett raised to 6,600. Rousso jammed and Trickett called. Rousso held the {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Trickett the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. After the turn {2-Hearts} and river {7-Clubs}, Rousso backed into a full house and cracked Trickett's flopped straight.

Shortly following that, Rousso was in action on the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} flop against Barbero and Lind. Barbero was first and checked. Then, Lind checked and Rousso checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Barbero bet 3,500. Lind made the call before Rousso put in a raise to 9,500. Barbero tank-folded and Lind quickly gave it up.

On the very next hand, Rousso raised to 2,000 from the hijack seat and Trickett three-bet to 5,300 from the cutoff seat. Action folded back to Rousso and she four-bet to 10,300. Trickett snap-folded his hand after she reraised and Rousso showed him the {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}.
