Chouity Misses Value? Seiver Stirs

Nicolas Chouity looked to the heavens (other afterlife options are available) after he checked the river in a hand versus Ville Wahlbeck and the Finn check back.

Chouity, the champion here from two years ago, opened to 850 and was called by the Team PokerStars Pro and both blind players. The flop came {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Spades} and Chouity led for 1,400 and was only called by Wahlbeck.

The turn appeared as {8-Spades} and Chouity's 2,700 bet was called once more to head to the [8]h river where both players checked. Chouity opened {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nut flush. Wahlbek mucked.

"It's a safe check," piped in Scott Seiver, "Maybe he had quads," he continued to stir whilst giggling.
