Kurganov Hits Flush to Double

From the button, Igor Kurganov limped in. Daniel Negreanu completed the bet from the small blind and then Justin Bonomo checked his option in the big blind.

From there, the flop came down {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Negreanu checked. Bonomo bet 70,000 and Kurganov raised a tall stack of red chips for about 350,000. Kurganov had less then 200,000 behind and after Negreanu folded, Bonomo moved all in. Kurganov called and the hands were tabled.

Kurganov showed the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a queen-high flush draw. Bonomo held trip nines with the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}, getting to see a free flop from the big blind.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} to give Kurganov his flush and the river didn't fill Bonomo up with the {10-Hearts}. Kurganov doubled and is back to over one million in chips.
