Big Pot Puts Kurganov Over One Million

From under the gun, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu raised to 35,000. Artem Litvinov called from the hijack seat and Igor Kurganov called from the big blind.

The three players took the {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and Kurganov opted to lead with a bet of 83,000. Negreanu made the call and then Litvinov folded.

The turn card was the {5-Spades} and Kurganov fired 178,000. Again, Negreanu made the call. Then finally, the river completed the board with the {9-Spades}. Kurganov took a couple of minutes to think about his decision. He had right around 470,000 behind and opted to check. Negreanu had about 610,000 back and took his own time before checking. Kurganov then showed the {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives and Negreanu mucked his hand.
