Neuville: Back to Back

On his way back?
On his way back?

Team PokerStars Pro is back into contention after winning back-to-back pots.

  • Mickey Petersen raised to 80,000 on the button, Pierre Neuville called in the small blind off a stack of 40BB and Bjarke Hansen called in the big blind. The flop was [A] {K-Hearts} {4-Spades} and all three players checked. On the turn we had the {7-Diamonds} and a 100,000 Neuville lead took down the pot.
  • Neuville raised to 85,000 in the small blind and Hansen called in the big. The flop was {J-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {2-Spades} and Neuville check-called a 95,000 Hansen bet. We had the customary check-check on the turn, when the {4-Spades} appeared, before we finally saw the {6-Diamonds}. Neuville took the betting lead for 150,000 but Hansen raised to 325,000. Neuville composed himself, thought and made the call, and it was good - Hansen was at it. Neuville showed down {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} and Hansen {10-Hearts} {8-Spades}
