Manson Gets Lucky

PokerStars qualifier Alexander Manson made a standard raise on the button and Andreas Wiese defended the small blind. The flop was a lowly looking {6-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} and Wiese check-raised to 37,000 after Manson had bet 15,000 from position. Manson seemed a bit jittery, but he made the call nonetheless.

On the turn we saw the board pair, when the {2-Spades} was slammed face up by the dealer. Wiese led for 37,000 and Manson called quite quickly. Finally we saw the {6-Diamonds} and Wiese check-called a 30,000 Manson bet.

Wiese turned over {5-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} for the flopped straight but Manson turned over {A-Hearts} {2-Hearts} for the runner-runner full house.

"You got lucky," said a frustrated Wiese.
