Back to square one, almost, after Mickey Petersen took four pots on the trot. Two of them he took down with pre flop three-bets, two of them went the distance when the Dane was in position.
He raised and bet a flop. Neuville called both times before the two checked the turn. The river fell and Neuville check-called a 300,000 bet and then mucked when shown .
Two hands later the Dane raised to 160,000 and Neuville called to the flop where the action was checked. Neuville check-called a 125,000 bet on the turn and a 325,000 bet on the river. Petersen opened and took that pot, too.
Pierre Neuville raised to 215,000 and Mickey Petersen called. The flop was and both players checked. Onto the turn and Petersen surrendered to a 250,000 Neuville bet.
Petersen raised to 160,000 and Neuville called. The flop was and this time Peters took down the pot with a 160,000 bet.
Petersen raised to 160,000, Neuville three-bet to 325,000 and Petersen folded.
Neuville raised to 215,000 and Petersen called. The flop was and Petersen check-called a 285,000 Neuville bet. That was the end of the betting action as the and were checked through and Neuville picked up the pot with
Mickey Petersen opened the betting and Pierre Neuville called. Neuville then check-called a 160,000 bet from Petersen on the flop before both players checked the turn. It looked like that was going to be the action on the river but when Neuville checked for a third time Petersen bet 250,000 and Neuville folded.
Mickey Petersen raised to 125,000 and Pierre Neuville made the call. The two of them shared a co-ordinated flop of and Neuville checked to Petersen who bet 125,000. Neuville went into his stack and counted out a check-raise of 275,000 and slid it across the line. Petersen wasn't going anywhere - just yet - and he made the call.
The turn was the even more connecting and Neuville bet 335,000 resulting in a very quick fold by Petersen.
...and emptied the clip on Mickey Petersen again. He raised and then bet 100,000, 225,000 and 310,000 on each street of a board. Petersen check-called all the way until the river where he tank folded.
Pierre Neuville has been finding plenty of big hands here at the final table of the European Poker Tour Copenhagen Main Event, and now he has just picked up a Big Slick.
Mickey Petersen check-called a 150,000 bet on a flop leading the duo to the turn. Petersen check-called again, this time a bet of 300,000. The river brought the into the equation and Petersen checked for a third time, Neuville bet 500,000 and Petersen snap-called.
Micky Petersen tried to build pots in position by raising on the button but Pierre Neuville kept three-betting him off his hands. Instead the young Dane elected to call raises and try and wins pots that way. It worked too as he won two of them to move clear again.
The second of the hands was more significant and saw Neuville's 130,000 raise called along with his 175,000 c-bet. The turn was checked through to leave a board. The river was checked too and Neuville opened , losing out to Petersen's .
Former EPT London champ David Vamplew, who's guest commentating, said he would have liked to see Neuville bluff that river as his three would rarely have been good.
