Updates from the Past Hour

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

While the bulk of the tournament was on dinner break, a few of the tables remained in action. Here's a recap of some of the play from that hour thanks for our good friends at the PokerStars Blog.

7:55 PM: Full House for Nguyen

Alex Kravchenko raised from the cutoff seat and Men "The Master" Nguyen reraised from the small blind to 2,150. Jami Juutila called from the big blind and Kravchenko folded.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} and Nguyen bet 3,000. Juutila called to see the {10-Hearts} pair the board on the turn. Nguyen bet 7,000 and Juutila called.

The river was the {4-Hearts}. With tens and fours on board, Nguyen bet 15,000. Juutila made the call.

Nguyen tabled the {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a full house, jacks over fours, and Juutila mucked his hand.

8:20 PM: Antonius Eliminated

Patrik Antonius was eliminated from the tournament in unknown action.

8:35 PM: Mitchell Eliminated

Under the gun, Evgeny Zaytsev was dealt a hand, but according to James Mitchell, who was in the small blind, wasn't supposed to get one. Zaytsev was issued a one-orbit penalty and when it began, Mitchell mentioned he had the button. The floor was eventually called and it was confirmed that Mitchell did have the button when the penalty began, so Zaytsev would have to wait one more hand.

"No wonder no one knows where the button is. You're all idiots at this table," Mitchell said as reported by the PokerStars Blog.

From there, Guiseppe Pantaleo raised on the next hand to 900. Piero Mormina called and then Mitchell raised all in for 7,125. Play folded back to Mormina and he called with the {A-Spades}{10-Spades}. He had Mitchell's {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} in bad shape.

The board provided no help for Mitchell and Mormina's ace-ten was best, shipping Mitchell out the door.
