Veldhuis Picks One Up
From middle position, Nicholas Newport raised to 1,200. Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis on the button and he reraised to 3,000. In the big blind, Georges Chow put in the 1,200 to call the original raise, not seeing the three-bet from Veldhuis. It was ruled that the 1,200 must stay out there and he had the choice to either call for the full 3,000 or lose the 1,200. He chose to fold and wasn't happy about it. When action got back to Newport, he made the call.
The flop came down 
and Newport checked to Veldhuis. The Dutch pro fired 4,600. Newport gave it up and Veldhuis raked in the pot.
