Another Empty Seat

Walking back out to the floor, we see we've lost another smiling face from our field. It's Maria Ho's chair that's empty, and Victor Ramdin saw us looking. "I busted her," he said.

Ramdin was kind enough to tell us that Ho got the last of her short stack into the pot with ace-queen, and Ramdin woke up with pocket aces in the big blind. All the chips went in preflop, and Ho could not catch up to stave off elimination.

Even with the knockout, Ramdin -- never one to nit through the first levels -- is down to 20,000 from his starting stack.
