Pateychuk and Danchev Battling

Dimitar Danchev
Dimitar Danchev

From the small blind, Dimitar Danchev raised. Andrey Pateychuk called from the big blind and the flop came down {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Danchev bet 325,000 and Pateychuk made the call.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Danchev bet 525,000. Pateychuk called once more to see the {10-Spades} land on the river. Danchev bet 750,000 and Pateychuk called.

Danchev showed the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for a queen-high straight and Pateychuk mucked his hand.

Danchev Picks One Up

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Dimitar Danchev raised from the button to 200,000 and Andrey Pateychuk reraised from the small blind to 600,000. After Daniel Neilson folded in the big blind, Danchev called.

The flop came down paired with the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Pateychuk checked and Danchev checked.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Pateychuk checked again. Danchev bet 725,000 and won the pot.

Neilson Can't Catch a Break

Whittled all the way down to about 1.6 million, Daniel Neilson got it all in before the flop with {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds}. Andrey Pateychuk came right along with {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}, and he was drawing live for the knockout.

The knockout wouldn't happen, but neither would the double-up. The board ran out a sticky {J-Clubs} {5-Spades} {5-Hearts} {J-Spades} {5-Diamonds}, and the two men play the board to take their money back.

Neilson can't catch a break, and this split pot keeps him right around 1.7 million.

Danchev Comes Over the Top

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Dimitar Danchev
Dimitar Danchev

On the button, Andrey Pateychuk raised to 225,000, and Daniel Neilson reraised to 465,000 from the small blind. That put him under 2 million left behind, and Dimitar Danchev put him to the test with a four-bet to 1 million straight from the small blind.

Fold-fold, and rather quickly, and Danchev picks up some dead money to put Neilson even further in the hole.

Barny Boatman Eliminated in 4th Place (€225,000)

Barny Boatman - 4th place
Barny Boatman - 4th place

Barny Boatman raised all in for just under 1.5 million from under the gun. Action folded to chip leader Andrey Pateychuk in the big blind and he quickly made the call, tabling the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Boatman held a weaker pair with the {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Boatman was pushed nearly all the way out the door as Pateychuk nailed a set of ladies. The turn {J-Hearts} left him drawing dead before the {J-Clubs} finished the board to give Pateychuk a full house.

Boatman scored €225,000 for his finish in what was his largest-ever career cash. Pateychuk now has a whopping 15 million in chips.
