Rule Change Deployed by Horecki

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Horecki using the new rules
Horecki using the new rules

There are a number of rule changes on the EPT circuit in season eight and Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki has just deployed one to his advantage.

Horecki raised to 825 from early position and Christian Jeppson three-bet to 2,150 from his position in the cut-off. A few folds later and Marcin Horecki was making the call.

Flop: {9-Clubs} {j-Diamonds} {8-Spades}

Horecki checked to Jeppson and he bet 1,600. The hooded Horecki then check-raised to 4,025 and Jeppson made the quick call.

That was the end of the action as both players checked the {a-Diamonds} turn and {q-Spades} river. Horecki was the last aggressor and had to show his hand, which he duly did {a-Hearts} {7-Hearts}. Just before Jeppson could muck his hand (which he was obviously going to do) Horecki asked to see Jeppson's cards. One of the new rules this season is the aggressor can ask to see the other persons hand IF they still have cards in their hand at showdown. Jepsson flipped over {k-Clubs} {j-Spades} and Horecki won the pot.
