Aggression Pays for Ebanks
Level 6
: 200/400, 50 ante
Joe Ebanks won a bracelet in the 6-max championship event at this year's WSOP and there is no way to be successful in that format without some pure aggression in your armoury. He just won over 10,000 chips without having to show down.
Kayvan Payman raised to 900 and was called by Albert Mikhailyta (who tried to limp for 400) and Richard Toth before Ebanks three-bet to 3,500 from the big blind. Payman folded but the other two players called.
Te flop came and a Ebanks lead for 2,500 was enough to get both opponents off their hand. The American is up to 41,000 now.
