Frankland Cracks Aces in Monster Pot!
Mathew Frankland is up to 65,000 chips after his pocket kings cracked Carlomaria Fieri's aces, with the money going in preflop.
Marton Czuczor opened to 700 from late position and after Maksim Kolosov folded Fieri flat-called. Roberto Romanello folded on the button but Frankland raised it up to 2,050 from the small blind. Czuczor called then Fieri raised himself, this time to 6,700. Frankland then moved all in and when Czuczor folded Fieri instantly called.

Frankland looked in big trouble and even stood to leave but he need not have bothered as the flop came down gifting him top set. He still needed to avoid an ace and he did so as the turn and river were the and respectively to double up the Brit to 65,000 and leave Fieri with only 8,000 chips.
You may remember Frankland lost with queens against Fieri's jacks earlier in the day so some may say that balance has been restored.
