Carruggi Tops After Day 2
The day is all set here at the 2011 PokerStars.com EPT Barcelona and done with approximately 140 players remaining. Leading the way is Xavier Carruggi with 577,700 in chips. He'll be the man to catch come tomorrow's Day 3, which begins at noon local time here in Spain.
There's plenty of other notable players who will be moving onto Day 3, but first let's run through some of those that were eliminated. Team PokerStars Pros Jonathan Duhamel, Nacho Barbero, Luca Pagano and Jason Mercier all hit the rail on the day. They were joined by Melanie Weisner, John O'Shea, David Vamplew and Daniel Cates to name a few.
Some of the notables moving onto Day 3 are Andre Akkari, Vanessa Selbst, Chris Moorman, Victor Ramdin, Eugene Katchalov, Boris Becker, Guillaume Darcourt and Leo Margets.
