Within the span of just a couple minutes, we've bid farewell to two of the more successful women in professional poker.
At one table nearby, we watched a gentleman in early position raise to 1,650, and he was called by two players. That brought the action to Team PokerStars Pro Sandra Naujoks, and she reraised all in for 5,900 total. The initial raiser reraised to isolate, and Naujoks was at risk at the cards were turned up.

board was no help for the lady, and she's been sent to the rail here late in Day 1a.
While we were busy worrying about Sandra, we spied Annette Obrestad gathering her things and heading out of the room, too. We don't have any details on her elimination, but the two ladies have followed each other out the door, unfortunately.
