Negreanu Takes the Biggest Pot of the Tourney so Far
Negreanu Takes the Biggest Pot of the Tourney so Far

Team Pokerstars Pro Daniel Negreanu won it and also takes over the chip lead at the same time. Michael Eiler opened from early position to 115,000 and Negreanu called from the cut-off. The flop was {8-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} and Eiler made a continuation bet of 155,000 and Negreanu called. The turn was {7-Clubs} and Eiler slow downed with a check and Negreanu took over the initiative in the hand when he bet 275,000 - Eiler called. The river was the {9-Spades} and again Eiler refused to let go of his brakes and checked. Negreanu made a huge bet of 905,000 and after Eiler dug deep into his tank he made the call which contributed to the biggest pot of the tournament so far. This was no consolation to Eiler though as Negreanu showed Eiler a full house with rolled up pocket sevens.
