They are Dropping Like Flies

Here is a brief update on the latest eliminations at EPT Vienna.

Elimination 1 - Markus Herbel

Sergii Baranov opened from the cut-off and Herbel shoved before Baranov called. Baranov had {a-Hearts} {10-Clubs} and Herbel had him dominated with {a-Diamonds} {q-Clubs}. The flop changed things however as Baranov hit his ten {7-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} turn and river were no help to Herbel turn {9-Hearts} river {j-Spades}.

Baranov ~352,000

Elimination 2 - Peter Kamaras

Kamaras opened to 17,000 from early position and Ramin Hajiyev called on the button. Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby also called from the Small Blind. The flop was {10-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {7-Spades} and everyone checked. The turn was {9-Spades} and Hruby led out for 32,500. Action over to Kamaras who three-bet to 81,500 and Hajiyev shoved before Hruby folded. Kamaras made the call. Kamaras had {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} for a turned set and Hajiyev had {6-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} for the straight.

"Pair the board!" Shouted Kamaras. It didn't pair the board and Kamaras left the bulding after a friendly hand shake and good luck gesture to the rest of the plkayers on his table.

Elimination 3 - Cengiz Can Ulusu

We are not sure how the money went in but Antonio Buonanno won the hand when his pocket Kings beat the {a-Hearts} {j-Hearts} of Ulusu.

Buonanno - 880,000
