Two pots for Konstantinos Nanos: one small chunk of change from Daniel Negreanu, who flat called his preflop raise to 280k, but quickly check-folded on the flop, and one larger one from new monster stack Martin Hruby.
Hruby can afford to keep the pressure on his evenly-stacked opponents and took the opportunity when it folded to his small blind to raise to 260k. Big blind Nanos made the call, and they saw a flop of . Hruby now checked, and Nanos bet 350k. Hruby called and the was the turn card he saw. It was also the last card he was willing to pay for: Nanos bet 600k when Hruby checked again and this was enough to win the pot for him.
After a level of watching paint dry this tournament has just been turned on it's head in the most intriguing hand of this tournament so far.
It just seemed like another standard open when Luca Cainelli raised under the gun to 280,000. Team Pokerstars Pro Daniel Negreanu called to his direct left and Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby called from the Button. Konstantinos Nanos and Michael Eiler folded in the blinds and we were three to the flop contesting a million dollar pot.

Cainelli then made a continuation bet and it was a big one - 725,000. Negreanu called almost instantly and Hruby also started to count his chips. He asked the Dealer to confirm how much his bet was before making the call.
Now for the most significant turn card in this tournament. and with 3,270,000 in the pot Luca Cainelli announced he was all-in and Negreanu also announced all-in, this prompted Hruby to lean back in his chair with hands behind his head. After a brief pause Hruby also called and we had a three way all-in.

Cainelli had the rockets, Negreanu had two pair and Hruby who had been short stacked for most of this final table incredibly had the straight. The river was the and Hruby catapulted himself to the top of the leaderboard and Cainelli headed to the rail.
Konstantinos Nanos gave himself a tough decision just now by threebetting Martin Hruby (on the button) from the big blind for the second orbit in a row. He did so slowly and calmly, just like last time, sliding out 640k to challenge Hruby's 255k. This time, however, Hruby immediately announced, "All in," and there followed a rather painful-looking dwell by Nanos as he wrestled with this decision which could have seen him drop to a probably unsalvageable stack if he called and lost.
The seconds, then minutes ticked on, and eventually he laid his hand down, flashing the as he did so.
It has not, on the whole, been a great day for Michael Eiler, and just now the Sunday Million winner shoved under the gun for his last 15 and a half big blinds. It folded all the way around to Konstantinos Nanos in the big blind, who also folded and opted to show his . Eiler showed a king but his other card remains a secret, and he picked up the blinds and antes.
Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby has managed to sneak into second place like a ninja in a room full of blind people. He has done it with a series of well timed three-bets just like this one that just happened.
Team Pokerstars Pro Daniel Negreanu opens for the third time in succession making it 260,000 from the cut-off and Hruby three-bet from the Button and Negreanu folded.
Then in a battle of the blinds Neagreanu won some spare change from Luca Cainelli on a board of
Daniel Negreanu's picked up two uncontested pots with preflop raises to 260k and 265k, the former in early position, the latter on the button. He also took one from the big blind, raising to 250k after Luca Cainelli limped in on the small blind.
Also benefiting from Cainelli preflop is Martin Hruby, who threebet him out of the big blind to 635k. Cainelli let his hand and his 260k go without much of a fuss.
We have now reached level 30 of the Main Event at EPT Vienna and the blinds are a signficant 60,000/120,000 with an Ante of 15,000.
Team Pokerstars Pro Daniel Negreanu won the first two pots uncontested and then fellow Team Pokerstars Pro Martin Hruby opened from the button with a raise of 255,00.
