De Meulder Loses Chips and Masseuse
Belgian Team PokerStars Pro Matthias De Meulder finds himself back down to 82,000 chips after giving up his hand against the extremely aggressive Daniel Ferreira.
We caught up with the action on a board reading , with over 15,000 chips in the pot. Ferreira checked in the small blind, de Meulder bet 6,400 only to see his opponent check-raise to a total of 16,000.
De Meulder went into the tank, well as deep as one possibly could with a masseuse rubbing ones back, and whilst in there he asked Ferreira how many chips he had left. A quick count revealed it was around 38,500, or more importantly, around half of the Belgian's own stack.
With this he released his hand into the muck and then had to stump up some hard earned cash to pay for his, now finished, massage.
De Meulder now has 82,000 whilst Ferreira sits on a 63,700 stack
