Jason Lee Eliminated in 3rd Place (€186,240)

Jason Lee, runner up runner up.
Jason Lee, runner up runner up.

Hovering around the million chip mark, Jason Lee (who'd been picking his spots well today) knew he'd have to do something to get back in with a shot to take the title, and started to make his move. On the button there was shoving twice in a row - the first time Martin Jacobson gave him a minute-long-plus sweat before allowing him the blinds, but the second time he snapped with {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Lee tabled {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and his rail rallied, Annette Obrestad announcing, "You can't lose, you've got it in behind!"

That proved to be false, however, as the flop brought {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} (and cries of 'Deuuuuce!' from his loyal supporters), the turn a {10-Clubs} and the river the {J-Spades}.

Nearly €200k for a week's work in the sun isn't bad, however.
