Quads for Kornuth

Jason Gray open-shoved for 183,500 from the button and Robert Nulli flat-called in the small blind. On the big blind, though, Chance Kornuth reshoved.

Nulli tanked up for some time. Eventually he told Kornuth that he had {a-}{k-}, but didn't show it as he folded.

Gray was looking good for a double up.

Gray: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Kornuth: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

But the poker gods had other ideas...

Board: {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Kornuth made a little squeaking noise as he flopped quads, before apologising to the newly busted Gray. Kornuth is now up to 1.35 million.

"Nice hand," said pretty much everyone at the table after Gray had left.

"I was a fan of the flop," admitted Kornuth.
