Big Mac: Kevin MacPhee Chip Leader at Close of Play
Leading the final three tables is Kevin MacPhee with a huge 2,096,000 chips, making what looks to be a very convincing bid for a second EPT title. While nearly two days were dominated by Dirk Richter, he failed to make it through another full day, along with 70 others including record-breaking Luca Pagano (who has yet again broken his record for the highest number of EPT cashes), Dermot Blain, Guillaume Darcourt, Matt Affleck and Toby Lewis.
Going through to Day 4 is an unusually tough lineup including Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki (who brought the day to an end with an abrupt double elimination), Salvatore Bonavena, Rob Hollink, Roberto Romanello and of course MacPhee.
A turbulent day, which is about to be rounded off with the PokerStars Christmas party - great news for anyone not still in contention for the title (or any of the side events)!
The tournament will restart tomorrow at 12pm local time when the last three tables will play down to just one.
