Nothing really Matterns to me

We arrived midway through the action, but it looked as though Vicky Coren limped under the gun and Stuart Fox (who deserves an apology after this blogger failed to recognize him - he was wearing a hat!) seemed to have limped in the hijack as well. In the cutoff Arnaud Mattern made it 2,400 to go. The gentleman in the big blind called and Coren called too - but back to Fox, and he made it 11,525 to go. Mattern instantly moved all in for around 38,000. Mr. Big Blind and Coren folded quickly, and back around to Fox, who thought about it...

...And then called.
