Hand #27 - Kalle Niemi

Now our chip leader, Constant Rijkenberg raises to 125,000, and Kalle Niemi pushes for another 350,000. After a moment's thought, we have a call.

Niemi: {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} and takes his shades off.
Rijkenberg: {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

Board: {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} (Rijkenberg grins, but...) {5-Hearts}

Double-up for Niemi.

Hand #26 - Constant Rijkenberg

Constant Rijkenberg
Constant Rijkenberg
Kalle Niemi has the button in Seat 1. Constant Rijkenberg looks very pleased with himself after raising to 125,000. Reynolds announces a raise to 332,000, a curious amount since there are no red (T1,000) chips left in play. Rijkenberg reraises all in and is double-fist-pump-snap-called by Reynolds! It's the biggest pot of the tournament, kids, so of course both players have premium hands, right?

Rijkenberg: {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades}
Reynolds: {A-Hearts} {k-Spades}

A roar goes up in the gallery and Rijkenberg is out of his seat with his arms in the air as the dealer spreads a flop of {9-Hearts} {10-Spades} {8-Diamonds}, giving Rijkenberg the nuts! There are high-fives aplenty on the rail with the turn coming down {2-Spades} to lock Reynolds out of the pot.

The river {K-Diamonds} is probably unnecessary salt in the wound for Reynolds. He's down to about 600,000, while Rijkenberg is the new chip leader with 3.79 million.
