€10,000 EPT Grand Final Main Event
Day: 5
Both players check the flop, and Qu takes it down with a 200,000 bet on the turn.
Qu - 2,750,000
De Korver - 1,115,000
Shah - 1,820,000
Zink - 2,570,000
Woodward - 4,895,000
Mikkelsen - 11,890,000
It's Matthew Woodward's turn on the merry-go-round of open-raises. He's first in for 250,000. Chip leader Dag Mikkelsen jacks it up to 625,000 in front of button Peter Traply. He does something we haven't seen yet -- reraises all in for 4.25 million. Woodward gets the hint; he folds. Mikkelsen is a little more stubborn. Leaning on the rail with his arms folded across his chest, he chews on his lip and stares down at his stack. Calling the raise would require Mikkelsen to ship more than half of his stack, but he doesn't immediately surrender his hand. He thinks, and thinks, and thinks some more, then suddenly calls!
Mikkelsen:
Traply:
Traply looks like he wants to throw up, clearly not relishing taking a race for four million chips with blinds at 50k and 100k. He wants to vomit even more when the flop completely misses him, . He's off the final table and out the door after the turn brick and river falls .
