The action folded around to Valeriy Ilikyan who opened the action with a raise and Antonio Esfandiari re-raised over the top making it 280,000 which represented a large portion of his chips. He then stood and shook the hands of every player at the table in anticipation of an early exit!
"I might fold for the rest," quipped Esfandiari as Ilikyan went into the tank. He eventually folded and Esfandiari took down the first pot of the final table.
