Lodden playing on Day 1
Lodden playing on Day 1
Johnny Lodden doubled up against Robin Keston. The board read {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {3-Spades}. Lodden checked. Keston bet 100,000 and Lodden tanked for a moment. He called off the rest of his stack and moved all in for around 125,000. Keston called with a mere flush draw.

Lodden: {A-Spades} {10-Spades}
Keston: {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}

Lodden was ahead and he dodged a bullet on the river when the {7-Clubs} fell. Lodden won the pot and he increased his stack to 350,000. Uh oh, Johnny Lodden has chips. Look out....

Pantelis Pavlis Eliminated in 25th Place (€8,512)

Pantelis Pavlis and Albert Iversen were all in preflop.

Pavlis: {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}
Iversen: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

The flop was {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} and Iversen took the lead with a set of Queens. The turn was the {8-Spades} and the river was the {7-Spades}. Iversen's hand held up and he cracked Pavlis' aces. A dejected Pavlis shook his head as he left the table.

"When you run hot, nothing can go wrong," remarked Iversen.

Iversen began the day as the chipleader and added even more chips to his stack which is around 800,000.

Fry In Hot Water

Fry
Fry
It folded around to Will Fry on the button, who raised -- both Ciprian Hrisca in the small blind and Lukas Benkovic in the big called, and they saw an {8-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {7-Spades} flop.

Hrisca bet out around 25,000, and Benkovic passed. Fry, however, reraised to 70,000. And Hrisca promptly moved all in for another 90,000. Fry now disappeared into the tank, and when he emerged, he decided, "You've either got me crushed or you have a weak draw," and called.

Fry: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}
Hrisca: had him crushed with {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts}

Turn: {4-Spades}
River: {K-Spades}

An enormous double up for Hrisca, while Fry is not quite fried, but drops right down to 95,000.
