Mizrachi Gets Some Back

Robert Mizrachi
Robert Mizrachi
Just a few hours after losing a lot of chips to Felipe Ramos and his flush draw, Robert Mizrachi just got a few of them back. Dren Ukella opened for a raise to 4,000 from the cutoff seat and Ramos called from the button. A short-stacked Mizrachi wasted no time pushing his remaining 24,700 towards the center.

Ukella folded straight away, but Ramos went into the tank. He counted out the raise and then eyeballed his remaining stack. After a bit of deliberation, he pushed out the call. The players showed:

Ramos: {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs}
Mizrachi: {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}

The board helped neither man as it came {K-Spades} {9-Spades} {2-Spades} {3-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and Mizrachi's ace-high was best. He scooped up the pot and is now sitting on just under 60,000. Ramos, meanwhile, is still above average with about 90,000 chips.
