Reynolds Loses Big Flip to Baron and Busts
We only laid eyes on William Reynolds for a few moments before we watched him depart fro the tournament. It was Isaac Baron who eliminated him to take a big pot early and move into what looks to be the chip lead. Here's how it went down.
When we arrived at the table, Reynolds had 2,700 out in front of him with 1,300 in the pot preflop. Baron had a raise to 8,200 in front of him and action was pending on Reynolds. He tanked for a bit and then reraised to 15,500. Baron took some time before coming back over the top to 23,100. Reynolds then moved all in for 52,100 and Baron made the call after about 30 seconds, but he didn't look too thrilled about it.
Baron asked if Reynolds had ace-king and Reynolds tabled the . Baron showed the and it was off to the races for these two young superstars with over 100,000 in chips on the line in the second level of play.
The flop, turn and river ran out and Reynolds couldn't find the help he needed to stay alive. Baron picked up the elimination and the pot to move to nearly 140,000 in chips.
