Celdran Picks Off a Massive Bluff

Fernando Celdran
Fernando Celdran

With two players seeing a board of 981038 and roughly 85,000 already in the middle, Fernando Celdran bet 40,000 from the big blind only for Matthew Gray to raise to 175,000 from early position. Celdran thought for about 90 seconds before making the call.

Gray could only show AQ for a bluff with blockers to the nut-straight and nut-flush. Celdran turned over J7 for a jack-high straight to take down a colossal pot.

Jaime opened to 16,000 from early position and received a call from Angel Rodriguez in middle position before Manuel Ledesma three-bet to 45,000 from late position. Alexey Neofitov put in a four-bet to 95,000 from the blinds, folding out Jaime and Rodriguez while Ledesma made the call.

"Yes!" Neofitov exclaimed, standing up from his seat upon seeing how far ahead he was with his overpair. The K turn gave Ledesma a flush draw which came in on the 9 river to send Neofitov to the rail in brutal fashion while Ledesma scooped a massive pot.

Fernando Santa Maria
Fernando Santa Maria

With two players seeing a board of 37352 and roughly 285,000 already in the middle, Fernando Santa Maria checked from middle position and Chadi Akremi moved all in, covering Santa Maria's remaining stack of roughly 260,000. Santa Maria went deep into the tank.

After nearly five minutes Santa Maria asked the dealer to spread the pot. About a minute later he made the call.

"Good call" Akremi told his opponent, tabling KJ for a bluff. Santa Maria tabled AJ for just ace-high, much to the amazement of his tablemates, and scooped in a colossal pot.
