Pateychuk Puts Kolev in the Blender

Boris Kolev opened to 4,000,000 from under the gun with A♦K♠ and Andrey Pateychuk defended from the big blind with Q♣J♦.

The flop came 7♣3♣2♣ and both players checked leading to the A♣ turn. Pateychuk bet 3,500,000 and Kolev made the call.

On the Q♦ river Pateychuk bet 9,500,000. Kolev used four time extensions while weighing his options. He picked up a calling chip, put it back on his stack and used a fifth time extension. Not long after Kolev found the right fold and Pateychuk took the pot.
