Ilia Baranikov Tops Day 1c Chip Count in EAPT Main Event; Jack Sinclair Finally Finds a Bag
The EA Poker Tour (EAPT) Main Event was in full swing today as players battled it out to try and secure a place in Day 2 inside the Eclipse Poker Club in Batumi, Georgia.
Day 1c attracted 151 entries and saw just 23 players making it through to the final day with Russia's Ilia Baranikov topping the counts after a huge hand on the bubble saw him eliminate Lithuania's Valerij Gelasvili.

Japan's Yuho Ikezaki pulled through the second-biggest stack with 544,000 and Georgia's own Avtandili Magradze rounds out the podium spots in third after he bagged 526,000.
Iran's Ehsan Ghaeli also found his way into the top ten with a stack of 464,000 to do battle with when Day 2 gets underway.
The UK's Jack Sinclair made it through with 204,000 chips and has locked up his third-ever EAPT cash. Sinclair posted on his social media that he fired fourteen bullets in the Main Event, and it was lucky number fourteen that has given him his first cash on Georgian soil — the country he now resides in.
Day 1d is currently playing out and also attracted a similar amount of players as 1c did with 154. It brings the total number of entries in the Main Event to 741 which includes the 26 entries that were recorded online. The total prize pool hit $370,500, which far exceeded the $140,000 guarantee.
Just three players made it through the online flight who were Vladislav Isaev (490,933), David Alexandrov (396,852), and Valentin Troychenko (152,215).
The final day will get started at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, and play down to a winner. There will be a feature table that will be streamed from after the first break until a champion is crowned.
